Great piece, Courtney. I enjoyed it thoroughly and have already sent the link to a few people. The next few years should be interesting. This quote, in particular, was a great way to close out the article:

My question would be: who are the people who still want the space? I think more and more employees are interested in remote work and don’t think we need large office spaces.
